The Riverstone Project is a free resource that supports the education and professional growth of individuals interested in Information Technology (IT) and Cybersecurity with a primary focus on  security and hacking.  We provide free technical training along with various resources such as technology news, employment assistance, and professional networking.  The Riverstone Project is also dedicated to supporting our communities through various charitable causes as well as supporting the local music scene.  The Riverstone Project collects donations through individuals, organizations, as well as through ticket sales from our “Riverstone Rockfest” music festivals where various local bands perform without pay so that all ticket profits can go directly to charitable causes.

The Riverstone Project is an open platform where everyone can contribute and help others.  If you need to learn a new technology, would like to donate your time as an instructor, or would like to donate your time to support one of our charitable causes, please contact us.

How It Works

Training is offered on demand. Use the contact page to let us know if there is a training course or topic that you would be interested in learning in-person or online. You can organize a group of friends who are interested in attending the course with you or you can wait until four more students sign up for the course. Schedules may vary from day or night, daily or weekly, three-hour sessions or eight-hour sessions! Instructors will relay their availability to you.

We ask that you purchase your own textbooks and attend all sessions of your course. Attendance is mandatory for comprehensive test preparation. Students who miss two or more sessions due to unforeseen circumstances will be advised to attend the next course offering with the option of continuing their education after the first missed session.
